Acura Motorsports
Acura’s passion for performance runs deep—long before the Acura division even existed.
Soichiro Honda, founder of Honda Motor Co., Inc. in 1948, was a racing enthusiast at heart. From the very beginning, he pushed the company into motorsports, turning the racetrack into a proving ground for the engineers and designers behind every Acura.
Just a year after Acura’s first road cars hit the streets in 1986, Integras were already dominating race tracks—winning championships in their first two seasons. That relentless commitment to performance has fueled Acura’s legacy for over 35 years, proving itself lap after lap and championship after championship. Today, with back-to-back IMSA Championship wins, Acura’s motorsports spirit burns brighter than ever—and that same passion is engineered into every Acura on the road.
As a fellow racing enthusiast, it’s been incredibly rewarding to help share this rich, high-octane history with Acura’s fans across multiple platforms. Scroll down to see some of the Acura Motorsports projects I’ve had the pleasure to work on.
Films
We created dozens of videos celebrating Acura’s involvement in all aspects of motorsports.
Track Breakdown
We created a social-first episodic content series that gave our fans and followers a deeper understanding of the tracks we’d be racing at along with some of the brands racing history at that track.

Social Content
Throughout the year (for both Acura’s organic and paid social-efforts) we create a series of social posts celebrating all things motorsports showcasing Acura’s racing past, present, and future.
The Gram Prix
We developed a mobile racing game called Beat That the Game, where fans could take the wheel of iconic Acura vehicles spanning different eras. Among the cars players could drive were the all-new NSX and the Penske ARX-05 DPi race car — the very same machines Acura races in the IMSA series.
On Instagram, we launched a mini-campaign called Beat That the Game Champions Cup, where professional Acura race drivers Helio Castroneves, Ricky Taylor, Mario Farnbacher, and Trent Hillman went head-to-head to prove who was the best — both on the real track and in the game.
Racing Fundamentals
Many of Acura’s social media followers are passionate fans but might not be familiar with the ins and outs of racing. To bridge that gap, we created a series of entertaining videos that break down key motorsports concepts—making it easy and fun for everyone to learn the fundamentals of racing.
IMSA Explained
Building on our commitment to educate Acura’s followers about the brand’s rich motorsports history, we created a social-first episodic series called IMSA Explained. Throughout the season, experts from various fields broke down different racing elements in clear, easy-to-understand videos designed for fans of all levels.
