The Surfrider Foundation

The Surfrider Foundation is an environmental nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. Surfrider has been active in marine protection for over thirty years by fighting to improve coastal conditions for surfers, swimmers and all beach goers, while protecting the coastal and marine environment.

When the Surfrider Foundation reached out to Saatchi & Saatchi LA for help spreading the word on the foundations biggest issues; water quality, beach access, and sustaining marine & coastal eco systems, I couldn't wait to help.

With a modest media budget the work we produced had to make a big impact. Using visually arresting images against a stark white background helped make the work stand out. Not only was the campaign a success as it helped spread awareness of some very important issues to the Surfrider Foundation, but they also saw a spike in membership rates.
